MEET Becky Pollock, MA, LCPC

Program Coordinator (she, her)

ABOUT Becky

Becky is a full-time clinician at Youth Services with an MA in Counseling Psychology from Trinity International University and a BA in Psychology from Purdue University; she has been in the field since 2012.

Becky provides individual counseling for adolescents and adults dealing with mood disorders (including suicidal ideation, and self-harm behavior), anxiety, trauma, low self-esteem, and life transitions. Using a blend of DBT, CBT, IFS, and motivational interviewing, she helps clients build awareness of themselves, including their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. This will help clients identify and work toward making the changes to create a life they want.

Becky also explores how early childhood experiences shape current patterns, often using a psychodynamic approach. She emphasizes the importance of the therapeutic relationship and encourages self-compassion, a “both/and” perspective, and reducing guilt and shame cycles.
