Jean Paul Ohadi Crisis Response Program
Youth Services is the home of the Jean Paul Ohadi Crisis Response Program. This program provides rapid, on-site risk assessments at local schools for youth exhibiting suicidal ideation, homicidal ideation, or other at-risk behaviors.
Since 2014, more than 400 risk assessments have been conducted. Of these assessments, 85% lacked adequate health insurance coverage. Named in honor of Jean Paul, a 19-year-old boy who suffered from bipolar disorder and faced harassment from peers for his sexual identity, the Jean Paul Ohadi Foundation will help expand this essential service, feeling strongly their son could still be here today if such a program existed in 1998.
